From everyday windows to double-volume entrance halls and glass façades. Ground-level glass can be priced straight away; higher glass is assessed first so we can choose a safe method and give you a fixed written quote.
Four types of glass work, priced differently
The price depends on how high the glass is, how it can be reached safely and how much there is. That is why our prices have different starting points.
1. Standard windows on a monthly plan
Inside glass within reach is part of every plan visit. Outside glass, frames and sills that can be reached safely from the ground or a small step-ladder can be added to a plan visit.
Outside glass from R700 a visit2. Once-off full-home glass clean
No plan needed. All windows inside and out, sliding doors, frames, sills and tracks, on the ground floor and upper levels that can be reached safely.

Entrance halls, stairwells and lounges with glass up to about 8 m, using water-fed poles, platform ladders or a mobile scaffold tower.

Apartment blocks, office buildings and façades using rope access, a cradle or an elevated work platform. Also skylights, glass roofs, balustrades, pool fencing, shower screens, hard-water stain removal and post-construction paint and cement removal.
Quoted after a site assessmentThe R3,250 starting price is for a complete once-off glass clean of a whole home. The R700 starting price is an add-on for outside standard windows during a monthly plan visit. Double-volume glass is priced separately because it needs extra equipment and time.
Why higher glass needs an assessment first
We look at the site
In person, or from photos or a video call for simpler jobs. We measure the glass area and height, and check access, parking and surface type.
We choose a safe method
Poles, ladders, a scaffold tower, rope access or a platform. Where required, we prepare a risk assessment and a fall protection plan in line with South African work-at-height requirements.
We confirm permissions
From your body corporate, estate or building manager, and anchor-point certification where needed. You then get a written fixed quote.
Rope-access and high-rise work is only done by suitably certified technicians. Your written quote states who will do the work, and safety documentation is available on request.
Access we need on the day
- Clear space under and around the windows, with fragile items moved
- Parking close to the glass for equipment
- A water point and electricity outlet
- Pets kept indoors or away from ladders and equipment
- Estate or body-corporate approval for ladders, towers or rope access where required
Good to know
- Work depends on the weather. We reschedule free of charge in high wind, rain or lightning.
- Hard-water or limescale marks need a separate stain-removal treatment. Etched or damaged glass may not fully restore.
- Solar panel washing uses deionised water and is priced per panel (minimum 10 panels) in the quote tool.
Window cleaning questions
Can you clean double-volume windows?
Yes. Interior double-volume glass up to about 8 m is cleaned with water-fed poles, platform ladders or a mobile scaffold tower. It is quoted after an assessment, from R1,600. Higher or multi-storey exterior glass needs rope access, a cradle or a platform and is quoted after a site assessment.
Why is a full glass clean from R3,250 but outside windows from R700?
They are different services. R3,250 is the starting price for a complete once-off glass clean of a whole home, inside and out, including frames, sills and tracks. R700 is the starting price for adding outside standard windows to a monthly plan visit.
Do you clean windows in estates and complexes?
Yes. For ladders, towers or rope access, many estates and bodies corporate need approval first. Tell us the estate or building when you book and we'll confirm what's required.
Do you clean shopfronts and office glass?
Yes. Commercial glass is quoted per site after an assessment. See office and commercial cleaning.
What if the weather is bad on the day?
We reschedule free of charge in high wind, rain or lightning.
