Privacy notice

Last updated: 7 October 2026. This notice explains how RDL Property Care, a division of RDL Investments (Pty) Ltd (company reg. no. 2015/274744/07), handles personal information collected through this website, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

When you use our assessment, glass or once-off quote forms we collect the details you enter: your name, mobile number, email address (optional), suburb, estate or property address, property details, the services and dates you request and any notes. If you choose an address in the once-off quote, we also record its map coordinates to work out the travel area.

Why we use it

Only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange an assessment or booking and provide the service you ask for. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Services that process it for us

Form submissions are sent to Formspree, a form service that stores the submission and emails it to care@rdlpropertycare.co.za. If you contact us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own terms apply. The once-off quote's address search sends the text you type to an address-lookup service (OpenStreetMap's Photon search) and shows the selected location on an embedded Google map. These services may process information outside South Africa.

This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics, we will update this notice first.

Photos and visit records

When we work at your property we photograph work areas only, never personal items, documents or people. Visit records are shared with you and used to manage the service.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and service information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing care@rdlpropertycare.co.za. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
