What a typical office scope covers
- Desks and work surfaces (cleared areas), reception and meeting rooms
- Kitchens and break areas: counters, sinks, appliance exteriors
- Bathrooms cleaned and sanitised
- Floors vacuumed and mopped; bins emptied
- Glass doors and partitions within reach
- Periodic tasks as agreed: carpets, upholstery, high-level dusting, windows, pressure washing
Your written scope lists every task and how often it is done.
Not included unless agreed
- Clinical or hazardous waste removal
- Moving files or clearing desks
- IT equipment internals and server rooms
- High glass or façades (assessed separately, see window cleaning)
- Repairs and trades (available as planned maintenance, quoted separately)
How office cleaning is quoted
We don't publish a fixed office price because sites differ too much. After a free site assessment you get a written proposal based on:
Size and layout
Floor area, number of bathrooms and kitchens, and areas with special requirements.
Frequency and hours
Daily, weekly or after-hours visits, and how many cleaner-hours each visit needs.
Supplies and access
Cleaning products and equipment are supplied by RDL. Consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap and bin liners can be supplied by you or by us, as agreed in the proposal. Alarm, key and after-hours access arrangements are agreed in writing.
Office cleaning questions
Which areas do you cover for office cleaning?
Johannesburg (including Sandton, Fourways and Midrand), Pretoria and Centurion, Ekurhuleni (including Kempton Park) and Hartbeespoort. WhatsApp us your site address if you're not sure.
Can you clean after hours?
Yes. Daily, weekly or after-hours cleaning can be scheduled. Alarm codes, keys and access arrangements are agreed in writing before the first visit.
Do you supply consumables like toilet paper and soap?
Cleaning products and equipment are supplied. Consumables can be supplied by you or by us; this is agreed in your proposal.
How do we know the cleaning was done?
Each visit is recorded against the agreed checklist, with photos of the work areas, and sent to your contact by email or WhatsApp.
Do you work with body corporates and managing agents?
Yes. We clean common areas and can include glass, gutter and grounds programmes, with visit records you can share with trustees.
